Logan and Audrey wanted to transform their front yard into something more personal, modern, and functional. Charlotte Backyard Ponds made that happen by creating a stunning ecosystem koi pond with stepping stones, a gravel beach, and custom water fountain scapes that provide endless family enjoyment while addressing drainage issues.

Logan and Audrey wanted to replace their home’s incongruent brick front entrance with something that reflected their style and offered their kids a meaningful connection to nature. Additionally, they faced recurring basement flooding due to poor drainage, which they wanted to resolve as part of the project. Maintaining access to the home during construction was another key challenge.
Charlotte Backyard Ponds transformed Logan and Audrey’s front yard by installing an ecosystem koi pond that runs beneath their front walkway. Regrading, multiple drains, and gravel beds resolved the drainage issues, eliminating basement flooding.
The team replaced the old brick wall and walkway with natural stone for a sleek, modern aesthetic. This new outdoor space now serves as a family-friendly oasis and a hub for neighborhood gatherings, offering hours of screen-free entertainment for kids and adults alike.
